Responsible Sourcing & Provenance
Integrity in the precious metals industry requires evidence, not buzzwords. We do not make unsubstantiated marketing claims. Our sourcing practices are systematically aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and statutory regional mining frameworks.
OECD 5-Step Due Diligence Framework
We conform our gold intake and trading operations to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas:
Clear corporate chain-of-custody tracking policy, dedicated compliance oversight committee, and mandatory KYC requirements for all counterparty mine concessions and aggregators.
Rigorous mapping of mineral extraction sites, transport routes, and intermediate dealers to verify absence of armed conflict, forced labor, or illegal taxation checkpoints.
Immediate suspension of trade with any supplier or cooperative failing to substantiate mine origins, movement permits, or royalty compliance.
Periodic auditing of our bullion registers, customs exports, and laboratory records by qualified independent compliance reviewers and statutory mining inspectors.
Maintaining our public Trust Centre where verified state licenses, tax compliance certificates, and sample assay reports are accessible to all stakeholders.
XRF Spectrometry
Non-destructive elemental spectrometry analyzes the exact chemical makeup of finished minted bars and sealed blister packaging without scratching or damaging proof finishes.
Fire Assay (Cupellation)
The historic gold standard for raw doré settlement. Lead cupellation in a 1,064°C furnace isolates pure noble gold from silver, copper, and iron for definitive financial settlement.
Ultrasound Density Testing
Acoustic velocity scanners measure sound transmission speeds through thick cast bars (1kg), confirming the absence of drilled cavities, tungsten cores, or composite inserts.
Our Honest Environmental & Social Policy
We reject deceptive buzzwords such as "100% green gold" or "zero-impact bullion". Physical mining inherently impacts the environment. Instead, our mandate is rigorous harm minimization: we refuse minerals extracted using child labor, support artisanal cooperatives transitioning away from mercury via retort reticulation, and ensure full remittance of statutory local mining royalties that support regional communities in Kenya, DRC, and South Sudan.
